Setup guide
From a clean Windows PC to a running dashboard. Follow in order — every step takes a few minutes. If anything fails, message us on Telegram before changing settings.
1 · Requirements
- Windows 10 / 11 (64-bit)
- MetaTrader 5 terminal, logged into your account
- Internet connection
- Broker account with the symbols you want (XAUUSD / BTCUSD)
No VPS required to test. For 24/5 operation a small VPS is recommended.
2 · Install
- Extract the package to a normal folder (not Program Files)
- Run install.bat once — it creates the Python environment
- Wait for “installation complete”
Antivirus may ask about the script — allow it. Everything runs locally on your machine.
3 · MetaTrader 5
- Open MT5 and log in to your account
- Turn Algo Trading ON (green button in the toolbar)
- Make sure the symbols are visible in Market Watch
If Algo Trading is off, orders are rejected by the terminal. The system alerts you when this happens.
4 · Start the system
- Run start_all.bat
- Two trading windows and the journal open
- Wait for the dashboards to load in the browser
Dashboards: gold, BTC and the journal. Keep the windows open — closing them stops the desk.
5 · Check it is healthy
- Dashboard shows live price and structure
- Journal page shows trades (empty at first)
- Telegram sends a start message
If a dashboard says “can’t reach”, wait five seconds and refresh.
6 · Settings you may change
- Risk percentage per trade
- Minimum lot / maximum lot cap
- Trade hours and spread limits
- Telegram token and chat id
Change one value at a time and restart the desk. We can do this with you remotely.
Troubleshooting
“AutoTrading disabled by client” in the journal
MetaTrader rejected the order because Algo Trading is off. Click the Algo Trading button in MT5 until it is green. If it turns off by itself, check that you are not switching accounts inside MT5.
Dashboard opens but shows no price
The terminal is not connected. Check the MT5 status bar and your internet connection, then restart the desk.
A window closed and the desk stopped
Desks run inside their window. Restart with start_all.bat. The system also restarts a desk automatically if it stops.
No trades for a whole day
That can be normal. The system only trades when structure conditions are met. Gold in particular can range for hours. Check the dashboard — it shows what the desk is waiting for.
Telegram messages not arriving
Verify the bot token and chat id in the configuration, then restart the desk. Direct messages need the bot started at least once.
Where are the trades stored?
In the journal file inside the package folder, and visible on the journal dashboard page. Nothing is sent to us. Your data stays on your machine.
